A Day in Your Life at MKS:

We are seeking a talented a Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, sustaining engineering, and documentation of advanced MKS products. In this role, you will report to the Bangalore Engineering Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Develop and execute test plans with engineering teams to validate performance against requirements.
Perform functional, performance, regression testing, and reporting on existing and new products.
Identify and track performance for both Hardware and software issues in the design, report defects to the engineering team.
Stay updated with the current testing tools, techniques and methodologies.
Identify testing limitations in state-of-the-art vacuum measurement equipment and drive the testing technology to new levels.

Skills You Bring:

A degree in Engineering, Physics or other related field
3+ years of experience in product testing, simulation and reporting
Knowledge and experience in statistical methods of data analysis
Experience with LabVIEW and Python programming

Preferred Skills:

Data base development experience
Experience in any of the following: 8D, DFMEA, DFx
Experience in electronic circuit understanding
Experience in vacuum technology

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
Ability to use laboratory equipment and occasionally lift and move electronic equipment or test fixtures up to 25 pounds.
Work is performed in office and engineering laboratory environments.
Regular use of electronic test equipment and prototype hardware for product development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
