Job Title Senior Systems Engineer

Shift timings: 2 PM to 1130 PM IST
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support and manage enterprise infrastructure operations with a strong focus on VMware administration infrastructure automation certificate lifecycle management monitoring and incident response The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining highly available infrastructure environments automating operational processes and ensuring system reliability through proactive monitoring and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure VMware Administration
Manage and support VMware vSphereESXi environments
Perform system provisioning builds upgrades patching and capacity management
Troubleshoot virtualization platform issues and optimize performance
Support infrastructure lifecycle activities and operational improvements
System Build Provisioning
Provision and configure Linux and Windows servers
Develop standardized deployment processes and system templates
Implement infrastructure best practices for scalability and reliability
Automation Configuration Management
Design develop and maintain automation workflows using AnsibleAWX
Automate server provisioning configuration management patching and operational tasks
Drive infrastructureascode and standardized operational processes
Certificate Management
Manage SSLTLS certificate lifecycle across enterprise platforms
Perform certificate renewals deployments monitoring and compliance tracking
Troubleshoot certificaterelated issues for applications and infrastructure services
Monitoring Observability
Configure and maintain infrastructure monitoring and ing solutions
Develop dashboards reports and proactive health checks
Analyze s and system trends to prevent outages and improve service reliability
Incident Management OnCall Support
Participate in oncall rotations and provide production support
Lead diagnosis and resolution of infrastructure incidents
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Coordinate with application network and security teams during major incidents
Operating System Administration
Administer Linux servers including performance tuning patching and troubleshooting
Support Windows Server environments as required
Maintain security compliance and operational standards
Required Skills Experience
Core Skills Must Have
VMware vSphere ESXi administration
System builds provisioning and lifecycle management
Ansible and AWX automation
SSLTLS certificate management
Infrastructure monitoring and ing tools
Incident response and production support
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Experience working in 24x7 enterprise environments
Moderate Priority Skills
Linux administration

Nice to Have Skills
Exposure to public cloud platforms Azure AWS or GCP
Network fundamentals TCPIP DNS Load Balancers Firewalls Routing Switching
Scripting experience with Bash or Python
ITILbased operational support experience
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or equivalent experience
7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering systems administration or platform operations
Experience supporting enterprise production environments

VMware Certified Professional VCP
Red Hat Certified System Administrator RHCSARHCE
Microsoft Windows Server Certifications
Ansible Automation Certification
Cloud Certifications Azure AWS or GCP
