Job Title: Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Specialist in Quality Engineering to join our team in Pune. This role is critical for ensuring the quality and reliability of our API and Microservices architecture through advanced test automation and robust quality assurance practices.

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive API test automation frameworks using RestAssured and Java.
Lead the testing efforts for complex API and Microservices, ensuring high quality and performance standards.
Collaborate closely with development teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features and enhancements.
Implement and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
Conduct thorough REST API testing, including functional, performance, and security aspects.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution using JIRA.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of excellence.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Apply strong understanding of the Banking Financial Services domain to develop relevant and effective test scenarios.

Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

8-12 years of experience in Quality Engineering with a strong focus on API/Microservices testing.

Expertise in API Test Automation using RestAssured and Java.

Proven experience in REST API testing, API validation, and automation framework development.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Java programming for test automation.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git-based version control.

Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools, specifically JIRA.

Domain Knowledge:

Good understanding of the Banking Financial Services domain.

Methodologies:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
