Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Automotive Ethernet, Embedded C++, TCP/IP, and Embedded Linux to work on automotive networking and embedded software development.
The role involves designing, developing, integrating, configuring, and debugging software components for Automotive Ethernet-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze customer requirements and specifications and translate them into software solutions.
Design and develop embedded software using C++ ; knowledge of C is preferred.
Implement and configure TCP/IP and IP stacks based on functional requirements.
Develop and debug Automotive Ethernet communication software.
Work with Ethernet standards such as IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3ab .
Configure and validate AVB software stack and work with IEEE 802.1AS .
Understand and work with Layer 2 Ethernet switch configuration and its working principles .
Analyze timing requirements and support startup optimization of the networking stack.
Troubleshoot TCP/IP and Ethernet communication using Wireshark, tcpdump , and other network utilities.
Work with Embedded Linux and QNX operating systems.
Develop multi-threaded applications using appropriate synchronization techniques.
Participate in software design and architecture activities using tools such as Enterprise Architect (EA) .
Follow automotive software development processes such as ASPICE and SAFe Agile .
Candidate Profile
3–5 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software / Automotive Networking .
Strong programming and debugging skills in C++ .
Good understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet communication .
Experience in multi-threading and synchronization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an automotive software development environment.
