About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior REIM Consultant to support strategic transformation and technology initiatives within the real estate investment sector. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise across investment management, asset management, property operations, fund accounting, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and delivery organizations to define business solutions, optimize operating models, support platform implementations, and drive successful transformation programs across REIM ecosystems.

What You'll Do:

Lead domain consulting engagements for Real Estate Investment Management platforms and business transformation initiatives.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand investment, portfolio, asset, property, and fund management requirements.

Analyze existing business processes and recommend operational and technology improvements.

Translate business requirements into Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Models, Solution Blueprints, Implementation Roadmaps.

Conduct fit-gap assessments and process analysis workshops.

Facilitate stakeholder discussions, discovery sessions, and solution validation workshops.

Support solution evaluations, product demonstrations, and business process redesign initiatives.

Guide platform configuration, integration, and implementation activities.

Support data migration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production readiness activities.

Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, QA, Product, and Data teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure solutions align with financial reporting requirements, audit controls, risk frameworks, and regulatory obligations.

Provide industry best-practice recommendations related to REIM operations and technology platforms.

Support change management, user adoption, and business readiness initiatives.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure successful business outcomes.

Expertise You'll Bring:

14–17 years of experience in Real Estate Investment Management, Domain Consulting, Business Analysis, Product Implementation, or Business Transformation.

Deep understanding of Real Estate Investment Lifecycle, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Investment Management, Property Management, Fund Accounting, Valuation Management, Performance Reporting.

Experience supporting institutional investors, investment managers, asset managers, or real estate funds.

Strong understanding of commercial and residential real estate investment operations.

Proven experience leading complex consulting and transformation engagements.

Expertise in Requirements Elicitation, Functional Analysis, Process Mapping, Process Reengineering, Gap Analysis, Solution Consulting.

Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.

Experience conducting workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.

Strong knowledge of Fund Structures, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, General Ledger Processes, NAV Calculations, Capital Calls, Investor Reporting.

Understanding of financial controls and investment reporting frameworks.

Familiarity with accounting and audit requirements within real estate investment environments.

Experience working with Real Estate Investment Management platforms and related enterprise applications.

Understanding of Property Management Systems, Investment Management Platforms, Lease Administration Solutions, Portfolio Reporting Systems.

Ability to evaluate and recommend enterprise platform solutions.

Experience supporting enterprise-wide REIM implementations.

Knowledge of Audit Controls, Regulatory Compliance, Data Governance, Risk Management Frameworks, Investment Reporting Standards.

Familiarity with governance and operational control requirements.

Understanding of data quality, traceability, and compliance considerations.

Experience supporting Data Migration Programs, System Integrations, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Change Management, Production Readiness Assessments.

Strong understanding of implementation governance and delivery processes.

Experience validating solution outcomes and business requirements.

Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.

Familiarity with User Stories, Product Backlogs, Sprint Planning, Acceptance Criteria, Release Planning.

Proven track record delivering business transformation and modernization initiatives.

Strong consulting and executive communication skills.

Experience working with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence strategic decisions.

Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.

Excellent documentation, presentation, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex stakeholder relationships.
