Position: Senior QA Engineer

Location: Mumbai / Banglore

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing and a proven track record in the fintech domain. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for PayU products.

Lead the automation testing efforts by creating and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.

Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Stay updated with the latest QA tools, trends, and best practices, especially in the fintech domain.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to financial services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.

Domain Expertise: Prior experience working in the fintech domain is highly preferred.

Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

Programming Knowledge: Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Postman, Jenkins, and Git.

API Testing: Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

Knowledge of security testing practices in fintech applications.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Understanding of regulatory compliance and security standards in the fintech industry.
