We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Software Engineering to drive the delivery, development, and scaling of Agentic AI platforms and healthcare provider systems.

This role blends solid technical expertise in AI/LLMs and platform engineering with team leadership, and places a heavy emphasis on hands-on development, agent orchestration, and dependable delivery.

The candidate will lead a team of AI engineers while actively contributing to building AI-driven developer lifecycle tools (AI DLC) and enhancing Provider Fee Schedule platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

Technical Delivery - Develop and deploy AI agents into production, including monitoring, performance tuning, and observability
Contribute to development of AI Developer Lifecycle (AI DLC) tools and frameworks
Optimize existing SDLC processes using AI-driven automation and agents
Team Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of 8-15 AI/Agentic engineers
Oversee deliverables, training and upskilling, and individual performance and growth
Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning
Execution Management - Drive PI Planning, work breakdown structures, and resource planning and scheduling
Track timelines and manage delivery against forecasts
Present regular status reports to leadership
Ensure alignment with team and program roadmaps
Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with product, business stakeholders, and capability teams
Gather and refine requirements, manage backlog, and support prioritization
Resolve cross-functional challenges across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams
Contribute a solid technical perspective in product and delivery discussions
Continuous Learning & Innovation - Stay current with trends in AI, LLMs, and agentic systems
Participate in and help organize AI hackathons
Encourage innovation and recognize team contributions

Required Qualifications:

Technical Expertise - Experience with agentic architectures (multi-agent / agent-of-agents systems)
Experience building dashboards for agent monitoring
Proven experience deploying AI systems into production
Working expertise in at least one LLM platform (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude/Anthropic, Copilot)
Familiarity with MCP servers and ADK toolkits (especially for the Gemini ecosystem)
Solid understanding of AI system observability, performance tuning, and lifecycle management
Exposure to AI-driven SDLC / AI DLC frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

20+ years of experience in software/product engineering
2+ years of recent hands-on experience in AI/Agentic systems
Exposure to healthcare systems, specifically provider platforms and fee schedules / pricing systems
Leadership & Execution - Experience leading 8-15 member engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to operate both tactically (hands-on execution) and at the team-planning level
Proven solid program/delivery management skills: planning, forecasting, and roadmap execution
Communication - Demonstrated ability to explain AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and report progress to leadership with confidence
Proven solid written and verbal communication
Willingness to work the 2 PM - 11 PM IST shift, travel occasionally (India & US), and join on short notice
Proven solid problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity
