Senior Java Microservices Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Microservices Developer with a strong background in developing scalable and efficient microservices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, particularly in the travel domain. This role requires a deep understanding of microservices architecture and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust Java microservices that meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs in the application.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java and microservices.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Java programming language.
Proven experience in developing microservices using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the travel domain or related industries.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java microservices.
