About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Python, PySpark, and modern Data Lakehouse architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and building scalable ETL pipelines, implementing cloud-native data solutions, and managing large-scale data processing workloads. This role will be instrumental in enabling data-driven decision-making through reliable, high-performance, and secure data platforms.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration and transformation.

Build and optimize data processing frameworks using Python, PySpark, and distributed computing technologies.

Develop data ingestion, transformation, validation, and enrichment processes for structured and unstructured datasets.

Implement and manage AWS-based data solutions using services such as Glue, Lambda, EMR, ECS, and Lake Formation.

Design and support modern Data Lakehouse architectures leveraging Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake.

Develop workflow orchestration and automation using Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions.

Collaborate with Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and Data Architects to deliver high-quality data products.

Design efficient data storage and retrieval strategies to support analytics and reporting workloads.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure performance, reliability, and operational excellence.

Implement data quality controls, validation checks, reconciliation processes, and governance standards.

Support cloud migration and data modernization initiatives across enterprise systems.

Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.

Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data management standards.

Expertise You'll Bring:

8–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Platform development.

Strong programming expertise in Python with experience using Pandas, PySpark, and related libraries.

Extensive hands-on experience designing and maintaining enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines.

Strong knowledge of distributed data processing using Apache Spark and PySpark.

Proficiency in AWS cloud services including AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon EMR, Amazon ECS, AWS Lake Formation, AWS Step Functions.

Experience implementing Data Lakehouse architectures using Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake.

Strong understanding of data partitioning, schema evolution, data versioning, and transactional data lakes.

Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling techniques.

Hands-on experience working with large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets.

Strong SQL skills and database optimization knowledge.

Experience implementing monitoring, logging, exception handling, and data quality frameworks.

Understanding of cloud-native architecture and scalable data platform design.

Experience troubleshooting production data pipelines and performance bottlenecks.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
