Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.

Build, optimize, and support RESTful APIs and microservices.

Develop real-time backend integrations using WebSockets where required.

Ensure system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

Work with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching technologies, and distributed architectures.

Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Drive performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

6+ years of backend software engineering experience.

Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architectures.

Solid understanding of WebSockets and real-time systems.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability principles.

Experience building, deploying, and supporting production-grade applications.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Experience in large-scale product, consumer-tech, or platform engineering environments.

Familiarity with complex distributed systems and high-traffic applications.

Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability tools.

Prior experience building and supporting real-time, highly available backend services.
