About the job

Responsible for coordinating vessel provisioning activities for an assigned fleet segment, ensuring timely procurement, economical sourcing, vendor coordination, order processing and uninterrupted supply of provisions while maintaining operational records and service quality standards.

ROLES ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Process vessel provision requisitions within agreed timelines.

Coordinate with vessels, vendors and agents for supply arrangements and order execution.

Obtain, analyse and compare quotations to ensure commercial competitiveness.

Negotiate pricing and service terms while maintaining approved quality standards.

Monitor RFQs, purchase orders, confirmations and supply status until completion.

Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and minimum supply lead times.

Maintain and update DAS, vessel trading patterns and operational databases.

Maintain procurement records and correspondence for audit and operational purposes.

Coordinate resolution of supply discrepancies, complaints and service issues.

Support invoice processing and timely resolution of invoice-related queries.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Education: Graduate, preferably in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.

Experience: 4-5 years of experience in shore-based catering management, procurement, supply chain or victualling operations.

Business Knowledge: Vendor management, procurement processes, commercial negotiations and advanced MS Excel proficiency
