Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to drive B2B sales of electrical products (including wires, cables, switchgear, and solar DC components) specifically to Solar EPC companies and large-scale project contractors. The ideal candidate has 4 to 5 years of experience in the electrical or solar supply chain, understands project procurement cycles, and can build robust relationships with contractors and developers to ensure Vashi remains their distributor of choice.

Key Responsibilities:-

Business Development: Identify, target, and onboard new Solar EPC clients and project contractors across assigned territories.

Key Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement heads and project managers. Cultivate long-term partnerships that secure recurring bulk orders.

Technical Sales & Quoting: Understand the bill of materials for solar projects and provide accurate, competitive quotes for industrial electrical products, cables, and solar-specific components.

Contract & Price Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations, finalize supply contracts, and manage credit terms in alignment with company policies.

Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinate closely with internal logistics, warehouse teams, and OEMs to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of materials to project sites, resolving any delivery or material disputes efficiently.

Market Intelligence: Track upcoming solar parks, commercial installations, and infrastructure projects to build a strong sales pipeline and forecast regional demand.

Reporting: Track all client interactions, pipeline progress, and territory performance using CRM tools, providing regular updates to sales leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or Business Administration.

Industry Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven B2B sales experience directly serving Solar EPCs, renewable energy developers, or large electrical project contractors.

Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial electrical products, specifically LT/HT cables, wires, and solar DC distribution components.

Network: An established network of procurement and project contacts within the solar contracting industry.

B2B Deal Structuring: High-level negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex, high-volume project orders.

Operational Execution: A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, particularly in logistics and supply chain fulfillment.

Communication: Clear, professional communication skills for technical and commercial discussions.

Territory Management: Highly structured approach to mapping out commercial coverage and planning regular field visits to client offices and project sites.
