Senior Project Manager

Location: SMILES 2, Bengaluru

Years of Experience: 12+ years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Global Capability Centers (GCC), Global Business Services (GBS), or shared services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-country programs, transitioning application support, and engaging with senior stakeholders. This role requires hands-on experience in GCP migration and the ability to drive financial targets while ensuring successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of multi-country programs within a GCC or GBS environment.

Oversee the transition of application support or engineering work, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, dual running, and cutover processes.

Build and defend business cases with Finance, ensuring alignment with financial targets.

Engage and maintain credibility with CIO/CTO-level stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams and locations to ensure successful project delivery.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.

Mandatory Skills:

12+ years of experience in project management, specifically within GCC, GBS, or shared services.

Hands-on experience with GCP migration processes.

Proven ability to manage multi-country programs with financial accountability.

Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior executives (CIO/CTO).

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.

Familiarity with application support transition methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
