We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to work with our client, Glance, and take ownership of end-to-end product experiences, from understanding user problems to delivering polished, production-ready designs.
The ideal candidate combines strong UI craft with thoughtful problem-solving, interaction design, and the ability to collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Understand user needs, product goals, and underlying problems before starting the design process.
Explore multiple design directions and communicate design decisions effectively.
Design end-to-end user journeys, including loading, empty, error, first-time, and offline states.
Create polished UI designs while maintaining and evolving design systems.
Build interactive prototypes to explore motion, navigation, and interaction behaviour.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout development and implementation.
Take ownership of design quality from initial exploration through product launch.
Participate in design critiques and contribute to a collaborative design culture.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in product design for consumer-facing digital products.
Strong portfolio showcasing shipped products, design explorations, and design rationale.
Excellent UI/UX, interaction design, and prototyping skills.
Ability to work independently in ambiguous problem spaces.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Interest in AI and emerging user experiences.
Experience designing for TV or large-screen interfaces is a plus.
