Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the nursing staff. Allocate nursing duties and coordinate staff shifts and responsibilities. Monitor the quality of patient care and ensure adherence to clinical protocols. Conduct regular rounds and monitor patients' health conditions and progress. Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care. Guide and support nursing staff during procedures, emergencies, and critical situations. Monitor nursing staff performance, attendance, discipline, and professional conduct. Ensure proper medication administration, wound care, dressing, infection control, and other nursing procedures. Ensure proper documentation of patient records, nursing notes, medication records, and shift handovers. Monitor the availability and proper use of medicines, consumables, and medical equipment. Ensure proper admission, transfer, and discharge procedures. Identify training and development needs of nursing staff and provide necessary guidance. Address patient and staff concerns and escalate issues to the Nursing Head or management when required. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, infection control, and patient safety guidelines. Prepare and maintain nursing-related reports and provide updates to management. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards. Requirements Qualifications B.Sc Nursing is mandatory. Valid registration with the State Nursing Council. Relevant clinical nursing experience is required. Good knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, infection control, and hospital protocols. Basic computer knowledge for maintaining patient records and hospital systems. Required Skills Strong clinical nursing knowledge. Good leadership and team-management skills.
