Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an MS SQL Developer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize database solutions that support business applications and technology initiatives. The role focuses on SQL Server database development, performance optimization, data integrity, security, troubleshooting, and backup management.
The MS SQL Developer will collaborate with application, engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver reliable and maintainable database solutions. The role contributes to business objectives by improving database performance, availability, data quality, security, and operational continuity.
Software Requirements
Required Software Skills
Microsoft SQL Server: Practical experience with database development, administration support, query optimization, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, and performance monitoring.
SQL/T-SQL: Strong experience writing, reviewing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and related database objects.
Database management systems: Strong knowledge of database concepts and experience with SQL Server or comparable platforms.
Database design: Experience designing tables, relationships, indexes, constraints, schemas, and data access structures.
Performance optimization: Experience analyzing execution plans, identifying bottlenecks, optimizing queries, and improving database performance.
Database security: Knowledge of access controls, authentication, authorization, permissions, encryption, auditing, and secure data-handling practices.

Design, implement, maintain, and enhance Microsoft SQL Server databases and related database objects.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, and data-access solutions.
