•Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional support for Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central Supply Chain modules.
•Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, system defects, and user queries within agreed SLAs.
•Configure, maintain, and support supply chain processes across:
•Purchase and vendor management
•Sales order management
•Inventory management
•Item master and item variants
•Item tracking, serial numbers, and lot numbers
•Warehouse management
•Bin management and warehouse locations
•Replenishment and inventory planning
•Demand forecasting
•Transfer orders
•Assembly and light manufacturing processes, where applicable
•Shipping, receiving, and returns
•Support procurement activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, vendor setup, receipts, invoices, and return orders.
•Analyze inventory discrepancies, stock valuation issues, reservation issues, availability problems, and posting errors.
•Support inventory planning activities, including reorder policies, planning worksheets, requisition worksheets, order proposals, and demand/supply balancing.
•Assist business users with warehouse transactions, put-away, picks, shipments, receipts, cycle counts, physical inventory, and stock adjustments.
•Investigate and resolve issues related to item tracking, reservations, bin contents, item availability, cost adjustments, and inventory reconciliation.
•Gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications for system enhancements, reports, workflows, and process changes.
•Collaborate with NAV/Business Central developers and integration teams to troubleshoot customizations, interfaces, EDI, barcode scanning, shipping carriers, and external logistics systems.
•Perform impact analysis and coordinate functional testing for changes, releases, patches, upgrades, and integrations.
•Prepare test scenarios, execute regression testing, support UAT, and validate production deployments.
•Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, support knowledge articles, process maps, and end-user guides.
•Deliver user training and provide functional guidance on standard NAV/Business Central supply chain capabilities and best practices.
•Participate in problem management, root-cause analysis, service reviews, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
•5+ years of functional consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
•Strong experience in NAV/Business Central supply chain and logistics processes, including purchasing, sales order processing, inventory, warehousing, and planning.
•Hands-on experience with item setup, locations, bins, item tracking, reservations, replenishment parameters, vendor/item relationships, and posting setup.
•Practical knowledge of warehouse operations, inbound/outbound processing, stock movements, inventory counting, and inventory controls.
•Experience in a managed services, production support, or SLA-based application support environment.
•Ability to analyze and resolve functional issues involving inventory, procurement, warehouse, and order fulfillment processes.
•Experience gathering requirements and producing functional design documents, test cases, training material, and support documentation.
•Understanding of NAV/Business Central integrations and the ability to coordinate issue resolution across functional, development, and infrastructure teams.
•Strong problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple tickets, changing priorities, and deadlines effectively.
