About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and digitally savvy Marketing Executive Intern to support a bookstore's content creation, social media management, and event marketing activities. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of hands-on marketing experience and be comfortable working closely with the client to understand requirements and execute day-to-day marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Create engaging content for marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

Social Media Management: Manage social media platforms and maintain a regular posting schedule.

Events and Promotions: Plan and promote bookstore events, including author interactions, book launches, and other literary events.

Client Coordination: Coordinate closely with the client to understand requirements and execute daily marketing activities.

Brand Visibility: Support initiatives to improve brand awareness, online visibility, and audience engagement.

AI-Assisted Marketing: Use AI tools to create, refine, and improve the efficiency of marketing content.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum one year of hands-on marketing experience.

Experience in content creation and social media management.

Ability to use AI tools for marketing content creation and refinement.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good organisational and client coordination skills.

Ability to work proactively and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to event promotion or retail marketing.

Familiarity with design tools such as Canva.

Interest in books, reading, publishing, or literary events.

Internship Details

Hybrid work arrangement based in Chennai.

Initial internship period of three months.

Extension may be considered based on performance and client satisfaction.
