Job Title: Developer - Platform/Product

Designation: Web Module Lead

Location: Hyderabad_Phoenix

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer - Platform/Product to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad_Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mainframe IMS DBA, enabling them to effectively manage and optimize our database systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the development and enhancement of our platform and product offerings while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions using Mainframe IMS.

Implement database management best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Monitor and optimize database performance, conducting regular health checks and tuning as necessary.

Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.

Document database architecture, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to database management and development.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Mainframe IMS DBA.

Proficiency in database design, implementation, and management.

Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.

Familiarity with backup and recovery processes in a Mainframe environment.

Ability to write complex SQL queries and scripts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other database management systems (DBMS) is a plus.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in database management or related technologies are advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
