Mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and enforce best practices.</p></li><li><p><strong>Development &amp; Maintenance:</strong> Design, code, debug, and test complex system modules using C and TPF Assembly to ensure 24/7 stability.</p></li><li><p><strong>Problem Solving:</strong> Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance for mission-critical operations.</p></li><li><p><strong>Modernization:</strong> Drive initiatives to integrate legacy TPF platforms with modern microservices and API-driven architectures.</p></li><li><p><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Act as the technical bridge between stakeholders and the development team, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 8 to 11 years of proven experience in Mainframe Development.</p></li><li><p><strong>Core Technologies:</strong> Exceptional fundamentals in <strong>C programming</strong> and <strong>TPF (Transaction Processing Facility)</strong> are strictly mandatory.</p></li><li><p><strong>Assembly:</strong> Proficiency in TPF Assembly language.</p></li><li><p><strong>Leadership:</strong> Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and taking ownership of code delivery and quality.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Domain Expertise:</strong> Strong background in the airline/travel domain, particularly with enterprise systems like Sabre.</p></li><li><p><strong>DevOps &amp; Agile:</strong> Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and Agile methodologies.</p></li><li><p><strong>Modern Tech Stack:</strong> Familiarity with microservices architecture and modern backend technologies like Java 11 (Mono, Flux) is highly preferred to support system modernization efforts.</p></li></ul><p><br></p>
