About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, Python, and SQL to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving cloud data modernization initiatives, developing scalable data solutions, leading technical implementations, and supporting advanced analytics and AI-driven business use cases. This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, solution architecture knowledge, data engineering leadership, and collaboration across business and technology teams. You will work closely with product owners, architects, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data platforms.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise data platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, Python, SQL, and cloud technologies.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion frameworks, and transformation workflows.
Develop and support Snowflake-based data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.
Design and implement large-scale data processing solutions using Databricks and Spark.
Build reusable frameworks for data integration, orchestration, validation, monitoring, and governance.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
Develop and support APIs, backend integrations, and cloud-native data services.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps best practices.
Monitor platform performance and optimize compute, storage, and operational costs.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for critical incidents.
Implement data quality, security, reliability, and governance controls across platforms.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technology strategy and modernization initiatives.
Support healthcare analytics, reporting, operational intelligence, and enterprise data programs.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence across teams.
Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to improve coding productivity, documentation, testing, and delivery efficiency.

Expertise You'll Bring:

8–12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Data Platform development.
Strong expertise in Python and SQL for large-scale data processing and analytics.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake including data loading, transformation, optimization, security, and performance tuning.
Extensive experience with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
Strong experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions.
Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud-native data platforms and cloud architecture principles.
Experience working with Azure services and cloud-based data engineering ecosystems.
Knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse architectures.
Experience with API integration, RESTful services, and enterprise integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with GitHub, source control management, code reviews, and branching strategies.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
Understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, incident management, and operational support frameworks.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or equivalent technologies.
Experience implementing scalable, secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant solutions.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
