Lead I - Software Testing

Quality Test Engineer The Quality Test Engineer position is a key role for Financial Crime Compliance business. This position owns & drives the quality engineering aspects of our products delivered to prestigious financial institutions across the world. This role will be part of the CONTINUITY team working to enhance our industry-leading and sophisticated screening solutions used by the top 200 banks. We are looking for people who are passionate about shipping high quality software to the customer as quickly as possible. You are comfortable helping to define quality requirements and fleshing out acceptance criteria. You are confident talking to customers and stakeholders and engaging them in the process where necessary. You are a strong communicator with collaboration at the heart of how you work You are passionate about efficiency and speed to market and are accustomed to working in agile teams following practices that support continuous integration Technical skills • 7+ years’ experience as quality engineer • 7+ years of automating tests with Java or similar language • Behaviour Driven Development • Experience in testing applications in a fast-moving and agile environment • Experience with Selenium, Webdriver & Cucumber is must. • Good to have experience on Playwright with Typescript. • Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions etc; willingness to learn Jenkins is required. • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman and API automation using RestAssured. • Experience with AI technologies is a strong plus. • Strong knowledge of testing techniques and test methodologies, with proven practical application. • Experience using test / project management / wiki tools such as JIRA / Confluence • Experience testing web applications and multiple browsers • Ability to work on your own and be the quality champion for your squad. • Good to have ISTQB certification Soft skills: • A positive, constructive approach with an emphasis on collaboration and good execution • Keenness to learn new technical skills • Clear and Concise communication skills with a ‘holistic’ view • Gives strong importance to reacting fast to situation
