Where You’ll Make a Difference

Determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of flavour compounds through interpretation of GC/MS data.
Prepare samples, operate relevant analytical workflows and evaluate data in accordance with established methods and laboratory protocols.
Develop, adapt and document analytical methods appropriate to the complexity of assigned work.
Translate technical requests into well-structured experiments and practical analytical approaches.
Assess data quality, identify anomalies and recommend logical follow-up work.
Maintain accurate, current and traceable laboratory records, reports and supporting data.
Connect instrumental observations with sensory performance and product context where appropriate.
Plan and manage assigned activities, priorities and timelines in alignment with project needs.
Present results, interpretations, limitations and recommended next steps to internal customers and technical stakeholders.
Build effective working relationships by responding reliably to customer needs and using feedback to improve technical service.

What Makes You the Right Fit

Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Food Science, Flavor Science or a related scientific discipline with 3-4 years experience.
Master's degree with 1-2 years experience in the relevant discipline.
Foundational knowledge of chromatographic and mass spectrometric analysis, particularly GC/MS.
Experience with flavour, fragrance, food, beverage or consumer-product analysis.
Practical laboratory experience gained through employment, internship, academic research or equivalent technical training.
Ability to interpret analytical data, apply logical problem-solving and document work accurately.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to internal stakeholders.
Commitment to laboratory safety, quality, data integrity and responsible work practices.

How Would You Stand Out?

Exposure to sensory evaluation, olfactive assessment or taste description.
Experience using chromatography data systems, spectral libraries, laboratory information systems or statistical tool.
Understanding of sample preparation, method development and quantitative analytical principles.
