Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Billing & Collection professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the billing and collection processes, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of billing and collection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the billing and collection process, to ensure healthy project cash flow in the organization.

Develop strategies to address high accounts receivable stuck in unbilled and closure with the objective of increasing revenue billing collection2.

•Implement the RB3C (Revenue, Billing, Closure, Collection, and Claims) process to address the need for complete portfolio churn3.

Standardize billing and collection processes based on entitlements, focusing on delivery accuracy4.

•Analyze variances through root cause analysis, build strategies, and work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve customer disputes and manage accounts receivable risk5.

Build strong relationships with key customers, follow up on collections, and generate flags if exposure exceeds thresholds6.

•Generate regional indicators for OWC, billing, and collection.

•Facilitate monthly and quarterly closing and audits.

Qualifications:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field.

Proven experience in billing and collection roles

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage pressure and complex situations.

Strong customer reach and connections.

Experience in leading teams and managing large-scale billing and collection processes.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Local and global credit policies and customer credit limit establishment.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to build recovery plans.

Experience in managing bank operations, including loans, letters of credit, and bank guarantees.

Personal Attributes:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Proactive and results-oriented approach.
