About the job

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Netflix India's Series team is expanding its scripted slate. As Coordinator, you will support Production Management across multiple series, from development to delivery. You will be the day-to-day link between Netflix teams and our Production House partners, keeping creative intent, budgets, schedules and delivery aligned.

THE ROLE

This is a fast-moving role for someone organized, thorough and quick to exercise judgment. You will run day-to-day production workflows across multiple projects, anticipate risks, and work with senior internal and external stakeholders to find practical solutions. As the main point of contact between Netflix teams and Production Houses, you will keep creative intent, schedules, budgets and delivery aligned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Budgets and cost

Break down and review series budgets and schedules with EPs, Line Producers and production companies, using market-rate benchmarks to flag savings and risks.
Track spend against approved budgets with Production Finance. Flag variances early and recommend mitigations.
Review scripts for feasibility and cost. Recommend production approaches such as location and scheduling strategy, crew structure and block shooting.

Driving alignment

Keep projects moving when scripts, scope or approvals are unsettled. Set out the options and trade-offs, make a recommendation, and help Creative, Finance, Business & Legal Affairs reach a decision.
Escalate early when creative ambition, budget and schedule conflict. Communicate changes clearly to all stakeholders.

Slate and delivery

Maintain slate timelines and make dependencies visible across Creative, Production Finance, Business & Legal Affairs, Post and Music.
Lock and maintain production and post schedules. Ensure documentation and delivery meet Netflix technical standards.

Crew, vendors and process

Support EPs in hiring key crew and onboarding vendors (equipment, studios, post, VFX, locations etc).
Maintain a network of vendors, talent and PSCs.
Standardize templates and workflows.
Uphold Netflix Health & Safety and Inclusion guidelines and escalate concerns.

Requirements

8–10 years of production experience in film or scripted series, across the full production lifecycle.
Experience as an Executive Producer or Line Producer on 5–6 long-format projects, or equivalent.
Fluency with budgets: you can break down, review and stress-test a budget, know market rates, and quickly spot cost drivers, variances and savings.
Comfort with ambiguity: you make sound recommendations with incomplete information and build alignment among senior internal and external stakeholders.
Established vendor and crew relationships across production, camera, lighting, art, post and VFX.
Working knowledge of OTT series workflows, including post-production, VFX and delivery.
Clear written and spoken English. Discretion with confidential information.
Strong prioritization across multiple projects at once.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel. Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling or equivalent is a plus.

Additional skills

Post-production knowledge across picture, sound, music and OTT delivery.
VFX workflows, including planning, budgeting, scheduling and vendor coordination.
Experience improving production processes and templates across a slate.
Awareness of new tools and technologies that improve production and post workflows.
Familiarity with on-set health, safety and inclusion practices.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.
