Job Title:

Chemist

Summary:

Chemist responsibilities include testing and releasing materials, maintaining laboratory equipment and compliance standards, supporting product trials and investigations, issuing quality documents, managing shelf-life studies, and ensuring safe, efficient laboratory operations.

Responsibilities Include:

Perform quality testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for timely product release.
Support quality objectives and laboratory operations.
Manage shelf-life extension testing and product retesting.
Prepare COAs and customer quality documents.
Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, and 5S standards.
Report safety, quality, and equipment issues promptly.
Support NPI, production trials, and customer complaint investigations.
Ensure compliance with EHS, QMS, and GLP requirements..

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

Graduate in Chemistry with good Analytical knowledge having 5-6 years of experience in handling of analytical equipment like GC, FTIR, UV visible spectrophotometer, Automatic KF Titrator etc.

Post Graduate in Chemistry with Polymer knowledge will be preferred

Good Analytical skill and passion towards hard work

Candidates from Chemical manufacturing are preferred

Should be a team player

Exposure to Chemical Process is preferred

Should be well-versed in handling of analytical equipment

Should be Quality conscious

Should strictly adhere to Turn-around time
