## Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced **Azure Data Factory (ADF) & Integration Support Engineer (L2)** to provide production and operational support for Azure Data Factory pipelines, MuleSoft APIs, and enterprise integrations.

The role will focus on proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and ensuring the stability and availability of integration platforms. You will work closely with Engineering, Data, and Business teams to resolve production issues within agreed SLA timelines.

## Key Responsibilities

Monitor and provide L2 production support for **Azure Data Factory (ADF)** pipelines, scheduled jobs, and related integrations.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve ADF pipeline failures; perform reruns and validations as required.

Monitor and support **MuleSoft APIs**, integration flows, and API-related production issues.

Handle production incidents, perform initial impact analysis, and drive resolution within defined SLAs.

Conduct **Root Cause Analysis (RCA)** for recurring or critical incidents and coordinate permanent fixes with Engineering teams.

Execute SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and issue investigation.

Monitor Azure resources, alerts, application health, and integration performance using Azure Portal and Azure Monitor.

Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Business stakeholders to resolve incidents and support production deployments.

Maintain and enhance operational documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge-base articles.

Participate in shift handovers, rotational on-call support, and release/deployment activities.

Ensure accurate incident updates, communication, and closure through the ticketing system.

## Required Technical Skills

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

Azure Portal and Azure Monitor

SQL and database troubleshooting

REST APIs, JSON, and XML

Postman

Incident Management and Production Support

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing tools *(preferred)*

## Experience & Qualifications

3–6 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Integration Support.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience supporting **Azure Data Factory pipelines** in production environments.

Experience supporting enterprise-grade integrations, APIs, and data pipelines.

Practical exposure to investigating pipeline failures, validating data, and resolving integration-related issues.

Experience working in an SLA-driven support environment is preferred.

## Soft Skills

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to incident resolution.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts and participate in on-call support.

## Project Scope — Volvo Cars

The selected candidate will support and monitor:

Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines

Metadata and Snowflake ingestion pipelines

MuleSoft APIs and integration flows

Production incidents, alerts, monitoring, and operational support activities

The primary objective is to ensure platform stability, timely incident resolution, and SLA compliance across all supported integration services.
