This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and curious Entry-Level Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who enjoy building customer-facing applications, scalable backend services, and data-driven solutions. The engineer will contribute across frontend, backend, cloud, big data, and emerging AI-powered experiences while learning industry best practices from experienced mentors.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications and services.

Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using contemporary frontend frameworks.

Develop scalable backend APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Work with JVM-based applications and services to support enterprise-scale workloads.

Contribute to data processing and analytics solutions using distributed computing technologies.

Integrate AI-powered capabilities such as intelligent search, chat experiences, recommendations, and workflow automation into applications.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and operational excellence activities.

Implement automated testing, CI/CD processes, and cloud-native deployment practices.

Learn and apply software engineering best practices related to scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

0-2 years of software engineering experience (internships, projects, research, or full-time experience).

Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.

Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.

Understanding of frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Familiarity with REST APIs, web services, and client-server architecture.

Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Frontend

React, Angular, or similar modern frontend frameworks.

TypeScript and component-based application development.

Responsive and accessible UI development.

Backend & JVM

Experience with Java and the JVM ecosystem.

Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks.

Understanding of microservices architecture and API development.

Knowledge of asynchronous programming and distributed systems concepts.

Data & Analytics

Basic understanding of Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.

Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL concepts, and batch/stream processing.

Exposure to SQL optimization and data modeling.

AI & Intelligent Applications

Understanding of Generative AI concepts and LLM-based applications.

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools.

Exposure to prompt engineering and AI application integration.

Basic knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search concepts.

Interest in building AI-powered user experiences and productivity solutions.

Cloud & DevOps

Familiarity with AWS, or Google Cloud.

Understanding of containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle practices.
