Your Work Profile

The Technical Project Manager – Embedded Systems will be responsible for leading and driving the end-to-end execution of complex embedded software development programs. The role requires a strong combination of technical depth, project leadership, stakeholder management, and agile delivery expertise.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing embedded software projects, leading cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring successful delivery of embedded products and solutions within quality, cost, and timeline commitments. Prior exposure to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), industrial control systems, or similar embedded products will be a significant advantage.

Key Skills Required

Education- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related discipline.

15+ years of overall experience in software engineering and project management.

Proven experience managing complex embedded software development programs.

Strong technical understanding of:

Embedded Systems

Industrial Control Systems

Experience working across the complete product development lifecycle.

Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Experience managing globally distributed engineering teams.

Excellent communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong risk management and program governance experience.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the complete execution of embedded software development projects.

Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery activities.

Manage project scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, and resource planning.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of embedded software solutions.

Drive technical reviews, project governance, and stakeholder communications.

Maintain and prioritize software backlogs in collaboration with development teams.

Create transparency around project progress, dependencies, issues, and risks.

Monitor project health using Agile metrics and delivery KPIs.

Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.

Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

Escalate and resolve critical project issues in a timely manner.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and delivery processes.

Coordinate with customers, architects, product owners, and engineering leads throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing projects involving Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) or similar industrial products.

Exposure to embedded hardware and firmware development environments.

Experience working within product engineering organizations.

Knowledge of software quality assurance and embedded testing methodologies.

Understanding of system architecture and software-hardware integration.

PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or equivalent project management certifications are desirable.
