Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a results‑driven Acquisition Manager for its Regional Sales team, focusing on the Government Relationship Accounts (GRA) segment. The role involves sourcing salary accounts, expanding CASA business, building strategic relationships with government organizations, and consistently meeting assigned sales targets. The successful candidate will collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless onboarding and deliver growth for the bank.
Identify and prospect government organizations for salary account onboarding.
Acquire CASA business from target accounts.
Build and nurture relationships with key government officials and decision‑makers.
Achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.
Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking within the GRA segment.
Coordinate with product, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
Prepare and present sales proposals and performance reports to senior management.
Lead cross‑functional initiatives to enhance product offerings for government clients.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policy guidelines.
Mentor junior sales staff and share best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
Proven track record of acquiring salary accounts and CASA business.
Strong knowledge of government procurement and relationship management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office suite.
Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Willingness to travel within assigned region.
